FAQ: How do I zip-up files?
first, you need pkzip.exe
next, will depend on your operating system...
but, in general:
put the files to be zipped-up in the same
directory as pkzip.exe
at a dos prompt (or unix prompt) type --
zip newfile.zip *.*
or if there are sub-directories
zip -r newfile.zip *
make sure you are in the right directory
...be careful with the -r part... if you do it from
the /root directory you might create a 3 gig file or sumpin'...
